Student Services

School Psychologist - Lucy Willers

Lucy works two days per week supporting with staff, students, and families to assist students in achieving their full potential at primary school. She works across a range of levels:

With the Principal and Deputies

Lucy liaises with the school’s leadership team to determine the best avenues for school-based support for students with additional needs, as well as behaviour management, child protection, and critical incidents. Regular meetings ensure continual feedback from teaching staff and ongoing review of supports in place.

With teachers and support staff

Lucy works with school staff to provide relevant professional learning, neuroaffirming classroom strategies, ensuring inclusive education, consultative opportunities, liaising with external and Departmental supports and services to improve student engagement and teacher wellbeing.

With students and their families

Lucy works with referred students who require more intensive, direct support, such as short-term counselling for school-based challenges, assessment and report writing to assist in external referrals (e.g. to Child Development Service, or private clinicians) and providing families with resources to support their children at school.

Student Wellbeing Officer - Jen Lee

As the Student Wellbeing Officer, Jen is passionate about walking alongside students as they navigate their school journey. She provides a safe, supportive space where students feel heard, valued, and understood. Through gentle guidance and a person-centred approach, she journeys with students as they build resilience, develop positive coping skills, and grow in confidence. Jen works closely with staff and families to support each child’s social and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel connected and empowered to thrive at school.

Student referrals reach Jen through class teachers and deputies. Otherwise, students can find her at the wellbeing wagon on Mondays during Break 1 and 2.
